About the project

We built a new secondary school in Truganina. The school, delivered as a junior and senior campus, opened in 2024. It is helping the growing local population get a great education close to home.

In its first year of operation, Bemin Secondary College opened to Year 7 (junior campus) and Year 10 (senior campus) students only. It will progress by year level thereafter.

The junior campus is located at 30 Everton Road. Warreen Primary School and kindergarten is also located at the same site.

The senior campus is located at 805 Morris Road.

Joanne Camozzato was appointed as the first principal of the school.

The school was known by its interim name, Truganina North Secondary School, during planning and design. Bemin Secondary College was chosen as this new school’s name following a 2-week community consultation. Bemin (pronounced bee-min) is a Bunurong word meaning ringtail possum.
