[Upbeat music plays.]
[The Bemin Secondary College sign sits against a red wall.]
[A woman in a dark top (Jo Camozzato) is speaking in front of a white wall]
[On-screen text: Jo Camozzato, Principal]
Jo Camozzato: The new school is very special because we've opened across two campuses.
[Three school children walk through the new school.]
Jo: The way that the school's been set out, it allows students to sort of walk through the space and I think really enjoy each other's company.
[A young boy with glasses (Paarth) in a dark blue school uniform sitting in a carpeted room.]
[On-screen text: Paarth, Student]
Paarth: I feel as though the three best things about the school are the open spaces
[The video cuts to an external shot of the school hall and grounds]
[We then see three students (Paarth, Tvisha and Oakley) in a science room with white lab coats on]
Paarth: the variety of subjects, and the teachers.
[A man (Daniel Ridolfi) is sitting outside on a bench with plants behind him.]
[On-screen text: Daniel Ridolfi, Teacher]
Daniel Ridolfi: We're very lucky to be working here, obviously being a brand new school in its first year,
[The video cuts to images of shade sails in front of a playground, then a shot looking across the outdoor basketball courts.]
Daniel: creating a new program and getting to know the new students in the area.
[The video cuts to Jo sitting against the wall again.]
Jo: One of the things that really strikes you about the school buildings is there's a lot of natural light, which is really fantastic.
[The video cuts to shots of a classroom and breakout area.]
Jo: Outside the classrooms, there are quite large spaces where students are able to congregate to allow them to sort of do group work in a different way.
[The video cuts to a female student (Tvisha) with a blue school jumper, sitting on a mustard couch inside.]
[On-screen text: Tvisha, Student]
Tvisha: In the art rooms I like how we can create different types of art.
[The video cuts to an open kiln with various coloured, small ceramic pots inside. Then a child holding a board with clay pieces, and a wall with students paintings on it.]
Tvisha: Like, one day we make clay, the next day we can do, like, painting.
[The video cuts to external shots of the school yard, showing the plants and benches. Then it cuts back to Jo.]
Jo: The layout across the landscape is also very inviting. The architects have used a lot of natural fibres and sort of combined that with a lot of indigenous plants and planting of various sort of shrubs and features.
[The video cuts to a male student (Oakley) sitting outside with shrubs behind him.]
[On-screen text: Oakley, Student]
Oakley: I like the colour. I like the seating areas, and I especially love where kids can play,
[The video cuts to outside shots of the outdoor play areas.]
Oakley: like the downball courts and playgrounds and the basketball courts. It's all fun.
[Daniel is back on screen.]
Daniel: Our classrooms are very nice and bright. We've got very north facing windows.
[The video cuts to the three students walking through a classroom. Then an external shot of the plants and benches.]
Daniel: So lots of natural light coming through. So many plants and greenery, trees growing, which will be really exciting to see over the next few years.
[The screen fades to black and the VSBA and Victoria State Government logos appear.]
