About the project
We partnered with City of Melton to build this centre. It has 4 kindergarten rooms and offers maternal and child health services as well.
The centre can offer kinder to up to 132 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.
This helps expand Victoria’s 2 years of free kindergarten, as part of our Best Start, Best Life reforms.
The kindergarten was previously known as Weir Views Children's and Community Centre.
Funding
This project received up to $9 million through the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Melton City Council.
