About the project

We upgraded and expanded St Albans West Kindergarten by building a new modular kindergarten with 2 kinder rooms.

The service is able to offer kinder to up to 66 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

The new building replaces the existing kindergarten at the corner of Andrew and Stevens Road, St Albans.

Funding

This project was delivered by the Victorian School Building Authority. It's part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Brimbank City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $19.74 million to the local government area through this partnership. This investment is supporting 6 projects. These projects will create up to 649 more kindergarten places in the local government area.
