About the project
We're building a kindergarten at Neerim South Primary School. It will open in early 2028 and have 2 kindergarten rooms. Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.
Enrolment
An experienced organisation will be appointed by 2027 to run the kinder. They will manage all enrolment and program enquiries.
Funding
In the 2024–25 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
