About the project
We added another kindergarten room to the centre. This allows the centre to offer kinder to 95 children at a time, an increase of 33. It will be able to enrol more local kids than this by spreading classes throughout the week.
These additional places are part of the Victorian Government's early learning reforms, giving children 2 years of free kinder.

About the project
Mitchell Shire Council upgraded Mt Piper Kindergarten (now Mt Piper Broadford Family and Children’s Centre) to include 2 new multipurpose consulting rooms, a waiting area, shared group space, kitchenette, and a centre entrance to the kinder rooms.
The additional spaces will help the centre run group sessions and improve the entrance to the kindergarten rooms.
