[Lorraine and another student in a blue polo shirt stand in front of a large open door. They wave the camera in, turn and enter the café space. The shot transitions to the inside of an industrial kitchen. A man with a red checked shirt stands speaking to camera.]

[On-screen text: Craig]

Craig: We’ve got brand-new buildings, and especially for us, we've got a brand-new kitchen and cooking space. We've got our cafe program running here two days a week. That is basically to explore career pathways, so get the kids ready for heading out into the world once they finish their VCE.

[As Craig speaks we see footage of 3 students and 2 staff using the kitchen, chopping cabbage and looking on as they learn. A member of staff opens the roller hatch into the café area and waves. We transition to the café area where a student in a blue polo shirt is sitting at a table speaking to camera.]

Brooklyn: As we've gotten older and the new building’s come in, we've actually been able to do stuff which has really helped with our skills. I've learned a lot, how to chop food properly and prepare them in the right way.

[Footage of 3 students and 2 staff using the kitchen, chopping cabbage and tomatoes. They transfer dumplings from the stove to a tray.]

Lorraine: We cooked spring rolls from different countries. Harmony Week food for the classrooms.

Craig: Getting them in here, getting them cooking and getting them using these fantastic new facilities to enrich the kids and get them skilled. That has just meant the absolute world to the kids.

[As Craig speaks we see footage of another café area, kitchen, and a kitchen garden with wooden raised beds and plants beginning to grow. We see the building exterior again before transitioning back to Brooklyn at the table.]

Brooklyn: Become a good chef, open my own restaurant, and make a lot of food and make a lot of people happy.

[A panning shot of the students and staff in the kitchen with their prepared food.]
