A slow zoom in on a very modern-looking multi-storey building with the Melbourne city skyline in the background. Shot fades to a translucent white as text appears.

Wurun Senior Campus
Now open

We see a panning shot of the front of the building.

A senior secondary campus for Collingwood College and Fitzroy High School

We see an interior shot of a young person with brown curly hair, purple top, wearing a mask and speaking.

[Speaker 1]
Compared to a traditional school, every floor has a specific purpose.

We see a young person wearing a black jacket, black t-shirt sitting outside on a terrace. They are speaking.

[Speaker 2]
I like how open plan it is.

We see a panning shot of the interior of the building, a band plays instruments at the base of a big set of wooden stair-like seats. This cuts to a static shot of a metal staircase, painted orange, with a young person walking up them. This cuts to a slow panning shot of the stairs from a different angle and an information sign.

[Speaker 2]
It's very Melbourne, I think, and I like the addition of a quiet - an entirely quiet floor.

We see a young person in a bright yellow top, long brown hair, speaking. As they speak we cut to a panning shot of the exterior of the school building illustrating how large it is. We cut back to the young person speaking. Then we see a shot of a group of young people sitting outside on one of the terraces. The next shot is of the group sitting inside, reading in one of the open study spaces.

[Speaker 3]
I think there's way more chance for the students to socialise because being at one school, there's no travelling in between at lunch or recess. So we can use that time to study or to spend time together or do extracurriculars and clubs and things. And I think it makes for a more unified student body.

We see the young person in the black jacket and t-shirt speaking outside. As they speak we see a shot of a group of young people sitting in one of the study booths. This cuts to a shot of the main wooden staircase in the central area of the school. We then cut back to the speaker as they continue talking.

[Speaker 2]
I like the idea of meeting a bunch of new people, making some new friends. And with the open plan design, I feel like it will really bring everyone together.

We cut back to the speaker in the purple top. As she speaks we see a shot of the study nooks and library area; a shot of a modern looking classroom beyond some sliding glass double doors; an open area with some lounges, stools, long table and chairs, and sink; and a collaborative working space with large floor-to-ceiling windows, beyond which can be seen trees.

[Speaker 1]
You can really tell that the design was created for senior students because there's just like so many areas for free sessions for individual study, just places where it makes it easier to work.

We see a young person with a black top and red hair speaking. As they talk we see a shot of the Resource Centre – an open area with chairs and tables and lounges for students to catch up and work in; then a shot of a big open area with lots of tables and chairs grouped around each table.

[Speaker 4]
I really like level two, which is where most of the lockers are and where most students hang out it's like a canteen, student dining. So it's a really big, like common space.

We see a panning shot of the ground floor gymnasium. This cuts to a shot of the sports facilities on the roof. Melbourne’s skyline can be seen in the distance.

[Speaker 1]
We're really lucky we've got a lot of sport facilities. We've got two indoor gyms and one rooftop gym.

We cut back to the speaker in the yellow top. As they speak we see two shots of the exterior of the building highlighting the multi-level terraces. We then cut to a high drone shot of the school. Around it can be seen the local neighbourhood and as the shot pulls out we can see the city in the background.

[Speaker 3]
The terraces are amazing because you're outside, but it's cooler when it's on hot days and they're an amazing spot with natural light to draw and paint, and they've got an amazing view.

We see the speaker in the black jacket and black t-shirt. As he speaks we see a shot of one of the locker areas; a shot of one of the covered terrace areas; and a shot of one of the general classroom areas with very clean and modern furniture.

[Speaker 2]
You could definitely compare it more towards a university type campus or a small university opposed to a high school. It definitely feels more mature. Everyone seems more individual. It's just a very clean and modern looking school.

We cut to the young person in the purple top. As they speak we see a shot of one of the study areas with a couple of study pods and tables with chairs grouped around; a shot of the professional kitchen facilities for hospitality classes; the facilities for the industrial arts subjects; and the new science labs.

[Speaker 1]
Everything is kind of laid out together. This kind of gives you like a purpose and it's like, okay, I'm here for these subjects. I'm here to do this. There's facilities and resources for all of your subjects in the specific areas, it just helps you, like, reinforce that there's a goal at the end and you're working towards something.

We cut to a shot of the main entrance with indigenous designs cut into the wall panels. Through the glass sliding doors we can see the main corridor that extends into the building. This cuts to a pullout shot of the front garden with the school rising into the sky in the background. We cut back to a shot of the speaker in the black top and red hair as they talk.

[Speaker 4]
I'm enjoying it so much. It's such a great opportunity to be here, and I'm so honoured to have this facility to learn for my final year of high school.

We cut to a final shot of the main entrance of the school and gardens as the camera slowly tilts up and fades to white.
