About the project
We built an integrated children’s centre.
It has 3 kindergarten rooms, 2 maternal and child health consulting spaces, and community rooms. It can also offer parent education programs, occasional care, and before and after school care. The kindergarten can offer kinder to up to 99 local children at a time.
It was previously known as Langwarrin Kindergarten and Community Centre.
Funding
This project received $6.75 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Frankston City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $15.45 million to support 3 projects that will create more kindergarten places in the local government area.
