About the project

We helped build a new kindergarten at Glowrey Catholic Primary School.

The new hub can offer kinder to 99 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week. The centre also has consulting rooms and can offer out-of-school-hours care.

This helps expand Victoria’s 2 years of free kindergarten, as part of our Best Start, Best Life reforms.

This kindergarten was previously known as Glowery Children's Hub (Wollert).

Funding

This project received up to $6.75 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Early Years Education (MACSEYE). The Victorian Government has invested up to $99.13 million to support 4 Planning grants and 15 Capacity Building projects, creating over 2,600 kindergarten places.
