About the project

We are building an inclusive playground for students. Inclusive spaces make it easier for students of all abilities to play, learn and develop together.

Our Capital Works Fund is supporting this work. It provides funding for smaller building projects that make a big difference in our schools.

About the project

​We upgraded this school in two stages. Traditional classroom spaces have been transformed into flexible learning spaces to support diverse student needs.

Stage one

This stage is now complete, and included:

  • ​​extending the library to create a senior centre
  • creating a junior learning studio with classroom spaces
  • upgrading specialist facilities including art and music areas.


Stage two

This stage is now complete, and included:

  • refurbishing a building to increase natural light and ventilation
  • undertaking minor landscaping works.​

In the 2015–16 State Budget, $3.22 million was allocated to the school.
