About the project

We built a new primary school in Clyde North. It opened in 2025, helping the growing local population get great education close to home.

The school is open for enrolments for students in Prep to Grade 6.

Kristy Miller was appointed as the first principal of the school.

The school was known by its interim name, Clyde North Primary School, during planning and design. Turrun Primary School was chosen as this new school’s name following community and Traditional Owner group consultation. Turrun (pronounced turr-run) is a Bunurong word meaning she oak.

For enrolment enquiries or to learn more about the school, please email turrun.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Facilities

The school has the following facilities:

  • an administration and library building
  • 3 learning neighbourhoods
  • a community hub
  • hardcourts
  • a carpark
  • a sports field.

Funding
