About the project

We built a new kindergarten at Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School.

The hub offers kinder to 99 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

The centre also has consulting rooms and offers out of school hours care.

This helps expand Victoria’s 2 years of free kindergarten, as part of our Best Start, Best Life reforms.

This kindergarten was previously known as Carlo Acutis (Future) Children's Hub (Wollert) and Carlo Acutis Kindergarten.

Funding

This project received up to $6.75 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Early Years Education (MACSEYE). The Victorian Government has invested up to $99.13 million to support 4 Planning grants and 15 Capacity Building projects, creating over 2,600 kindergarten places.
