About the project

We're building a kindergarten at Ararat West Primary School. It will open in 2028 and have 2 kindergarten rooms. Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Enrolment

An experienced organisation will be appointed by 2027 to run the kinder. They will manage all enrolment and program enquiries.

Funding

This project shares in the approximate $580 million in capital funding committed since the 2019–20 State Budget to support the rollout of Three-Year-Old-Kindergarten.
