About the project
We partnered with Hume City Council to expand this centre.
We added a modular kindergarten building with 2 kinder rooms. The new building can offer kinder to up to 66 local children at a time. The service may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.
Funding
This project received funding as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the State Government and Hume City Council. The State Government has committed up to $7.4 million to support 5 projects. These will create up to 280 kindergarten places in the local government area.

About the project
Hume City Council built the Aitken Hill Integrated Community Centre.
The centre includes:
- 2 preschool rooms
- 2 maternal child health consulting rooms
- 3 specialist rooms
- flexible multipurpose community meeting/functions rooms and playground.
Funding
As part of the 2015–16 Children's Facilities Capital Program $1.6 million was allocated to the project.
