About the project

We are building a school in Charlemont, south of Geelong. 

It will open in 2026 with places for up to 525 students. This school will help the growing local population and ensure all Victorian students have access to high-quality education close to home.

Funding

The 2022–23 State Budget provided $236.7 million to acquire land for 15 future schools, including Horseshoe Bend Primary School (interim name). In 2023 this school shared in $280.1 million for the construction of 5 new schools to open in 2026.
