About the project
We're building a new primary school. It will have places for up to 525 students.
When open for Term 1, 2026 the school will include:
- 2 learning neighbourhoods
- an administration and library building
- outdoor hard courts
- a community hub with indoor multi-use court, canteen and arts/music spaces
- a sports field.
Enrolment details
This school will help meet increasing enrolment demand from a growing local population. It will ease pressure on surrounding schools and help local students get high-quality education close to home.
Details on how to enrol your child and the school zone will be published from early April 2025. Visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au(opens in a new window) for school zone information.
The school will enrol students in line with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy(opens in a new window). All students who live in the school zone are guaranteed a place.
Principal appointment
Joel Riddle has been appointed principal of Horseshoe Bend Primary School (interim name). Joel has 23 years of experience in government education. He was the first principal of Lollypop Creek Primary School in Werribee. Joel aims to create a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment.
