The College is one of 3 schools involved in the Oakleigh Education Plan, which is rejuvenating and reforming education across Oakleigh.

Helen Koziaris: Students will benefit from these new facilities by giving them a sense of pride in what we have at the school.

Helen: By allowing them to have a space where they can interact with each other, their teachers and collaborate within in the working space.

Kathryn: It’s going to be a high school of choice. It's going to be where people want to go. Because, it’s got, it’s not just about the buildings, the teachers here are amazing.

Lauren: I think it makes us feel pretty excited. We’ve seen all the plans, so it's exciting seeing them come to life.

Lauren: But it also makes us feel proud, I know the communities going to be impressed by them, so I’ll be proud to say yep, that’s my school, those are my classrooms.

Tom: I’m looking forward to having the new classrooms. Because it sort of gives the school a bit of a freshen up and gets more students to come here.

Kathryn: Making it worth the investment, the communities going to feel it, they are going to see what’s happening here. It’s just going to open a whole world of options for them. They are going to be able to be creative in their approach to teaching.

Mackenzie: Considering having the same rotations of classrooms every year and combine that with online learning. It's nice to have a new area to be able to learn.

Helen: As part of the Oakleigh education plan one of the things that we actually do is work with the local schools.

A map of Huntingdale is shown, the Huntingdale Primary school is outlined in red.

Helen: Particularly Huntingdale Primary School and Oakleigh South Primary school where we actually provide opportunities for their students to come in for advanced classes.
