About the project
We are building a modular kindergarten at Devon Meadows Primary School.
This will help some families before and after school with drop-off and pick-up. It will also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.
This new kindergarten will have 3 rooms as well as outdoor learning areas. The kindergarten will provide kindergarten for up to 99 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.
This kinder was previously known by the name of Devon Meadows Primary School Kindergarten (interim name).
Enrolment
Kids First Australia(opens in a new window) has been appointed to run this kindergarten. The City of Casey is collecting expressions of interest for enrolment through the “Future kindergarten” section of their Find a Kindergarten(opens in a new window) webpage.
Funding
In the 2023-24 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support Best Start, Best Life.
