About the project
We are expanding the preschool building.
We’re making the foyer and indoor play space bigger and adding a meeting room and office. This will allow the centre to offer kinder to 33 children at a time, an increase of 8. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.
Funding
In Batch 2 of the 2024 Capacity Grants, this project was allocated $1.1 million. In the 2023 Planning Grant stream, $150,000 was also allocated to this project.

About the project
We helped the City of Boroondara plan to expand Deepdene Preschool. This will create more kindergarten places for local 3 and 4-year-olds. The planning gets the project ready for construction, which depends on future funding.
