About the project

We're building a new secondary school in Clyde North. It will open on Day 1 of Term 1 in 2026.

The interim address for the school is 440 Heather Grove, Clyde North, 3978. The final street address will be confirmed by local council before the school opens.

When completed, the school will include:

  • a technology building
  • a science building
  • a library and administration building
  • a learning neighbourhood
  • a sports field and hard courts
  • a car park.

We are building this school in stages. We’re working with the builder to make sure key facilities are ready for the first students on Day 1 of Term 1, 2026. We expect to complete the remaining facilities by Term 2, 2026.

Enrolment details

This school will help meet increasing enrolment demand from a growing local population. It will ease pressure on surrounding schools and help local students get high-quality education close to home.

In its first year of operation, the school will open to Year 7 students only, and progress by year level thereafter. It will be able to enrol up to 550 students when the school is complete.

Details on how to enrol your child and the school zone will be published from early April 2025. Visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au for school zone information.

The school will enrol students in line with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy. All students who live in the school zone are guaranteed a place.
