About the project

We partnered with the City of Monash Council to expand Dover Street Preschool. We replaced the existing building with a new modular kindergarten.

The new building features 2 rooms, an outdoor play area and minor landscaping. It will allow the kindergarten to offer places to 66 children at a time, an increase of 36. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

Funding

This project received funding as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and the City of Monash. The Victorian Government has provided up to $14.4 million to support 6 projects that will create up to 363 new kindergarten places for local families.
